While basic shapes with rectangular cross sections are the norm in rolled rings, complex cross sections can be forged through radial and axial pressure on the rolls of our ring mills, meeting virtually any design requirements with contours on the inside and/or outside diameter or face of the ring.
Near-net-shape rings brings important cost savings in raw material input weight. Contour rings also bring a significant reduction in machining operations, resulting in less machining time.
